Airport liner(omnibus)

By Car

From Sendai or Tokyo:
Proceed onto the Tohoku Highway and take the Morioka Exit.
Head west toward Akita City on Route 46.
Turn right onto Route 341(a Lawson convenience store is at the corner) and continue to Route 127.
Turn right onto Route 127 (a gas station is at the corner) and go up to just before the Tazawako Ski Area.
Lodge Yodel is on the right.

From Akita City:
Head east toward Yokote on Route 13.
Turn left onto Route 46 toward Morioka and continue to Route 341.
Turn left onto Route 341(a Lawson convenience store is at the corner) and continue to Route 127.
Turn right onto Route 127 (a gas station is at the corner) and go up to just before the Tazawako Ski Area.
Lodge Yodel is on the right.

Recommendations

Lake Tazawa

The deepest lake in Japan, Lake Tazawa has clear water with high transparency that changes color depending on the place. You can see it by canoeing or by pleasure cruise. Cycling around the lake (20km) is also pleasant and recommended.
It takes approximately 10 min. by car from Lodge Yodel.

Tazawako Ski Area

Located on Mt. Akita-Komagatake, this ski area has become popular for people looking for a fantastic view of Lake Tazawa. With its fine, powdery snow, Tazawako Ski Area offers a variety of slopes for beginner and advanced skiers and snowboarders alike.
It takes approximately 5 min. by walk from Lodge Yodel and we can drive you up there by your request.

Mt. Akita-Komagatake

With an array of various flowers, this mountain has become a popular destination for hikers from June to October. During this period, please be aware that you have to take a bus at Arupa Komakusa (the bus terminal, 5 min. by car from Lodge Yodel) to go up to the 8th station.

Nyuto Hot Spring Village

A renowned hot spring village, Nyuto allows visitors to experience the atmosphere of authentic, ancient Japan. There are seven houses in the village, each with its own different hot spring source.
The village is accessible by local bus or shuttle and takes approximately 20 min. from Lodge Yodel.
